A safe & fun space for children to connect with Jesus
Finding Our Landing Place in JESUS
In the Dock, we believe that learning about God doesn’t have to be boring! We sing, dance, play games, role-play, and create artwork to learn who He is! As kids move through the Dock, we focus on the bible and how God has worked in other’s lives as well as redemptive work of Jesus. As people on mission, we love to explore how to be a light in our school, sports teams, friendships, and family.
We are committed to your children’s health & safety - here’s how:
Secure check-in & check-out procedures
Before service: You can check-in your child at any available kiosk. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.
During service: In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s unique number will appear on one of the screens in the auditorium. Simply exit the auditorium and head back to Dock Kids. One of our volunteers will be ready to assist you.
After service: After the service is complete, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
Only approved classroom leaders
All volunteers serving with family ministries undergo a comprehensive background check and are personally approved by our children’s pastor. You can be confident that the adults in the room are well trained, thoroughly vetted, & ready to care for your children.
Cammie Hronek - Children’s Pastor
As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, I have worked with children and adolescents of all different strengths. As a believer, I decided to take my child development expertise to children’s ministry. In 2015, I made a shift in occupation just as our church was moving into our permanent home- which in hindsight was NUTS! I’ve always had a passion for kids but in the last couple years, my heart for pouring the love of Jesus into them has become my main mission and I love getting to know the kids and families of Lakepoint in the process.
