Step 2: Join us for StartingPoint
If you’ve already filled out a connect card, StartingPoint is the next step for you!
StartingPoint is a 3-part on demand (or in-person) experience that will take about an hour of your time. During that hour you’ll meet some of our leadership team, learn what it means to be a part of Lakepoint, and dive into the unique ways that God has made and gifted you. You’ll discover what it means to belong in community, become who God created you to be, and build the church together!
Step 3: Join a Serve Team & Missional Community
At Lakepoint, we believe you’re never more like Jesus than when you serve. No matter your experience, skill, or talent there is a Serve Team for you here. These teams are the heart and soul of our church, and we couldn’t continue to provide our amazing programming without them.
We also believe that life is better when it’s lived together. We’ve created Missional Communities to be the central hub of spiritual growth at Lakepoint Church. These are groups of 12-15 people who meet together twice a month to open the Bible, talk about life, share a meal, and live the mission of Jesus in everyday life. No matter your phase of life there is a Missional Community for you!
NEED CARE?
Our Care Team is a dedicated group of volunteers committed to offering practical support and heartfelt care to those in our community who are going through challenging seasons. Whether someone is recovering from surgery or hospitalization, grieving the loss of a loved one, homebound due to age or illness, or facing the serious illness of a family member—we’re here to help. We also provide assistance with small tasks, transportation, and companionship for those with physical limitations or who may feel isolated. This team exists to extend love and support in tangible ways when it’s needed most.
