The 40 Week Journey is for anyone ready to take their discipleship to the next level…
From October through June, Lakepoint Church is on a 40 week journey, that each of us would get so into our personal discipleship that we will reach and disciple at least one friend with Jesus.
By signing digitally, you’re making a commitment to what is outlined below.
From there you can expect to receive a series of small challenges and big teachings as you’ll be prepared spiritually, emotionally, and relationally until each of us as disciples can reach and make one disciple.

No worries! We’ve created a quick and easy way to get caught up. For each step of the journey we’ve selected one key sermon, created one small challenge, and distilled one big idea. We’ll keep this page up to date at the start of every month so that you can make sure to keep up to date and track on the 40 week journey at any time.
DARE – to dream God’s dream
God’s dream is to save the world, and he’s inviting you to find your part in it.
YOUR CHALLENGE – Claim one person in your life you hope will know Jesus by the end of this 40 Week Journey.
PRAYER – to stand in the gap
Getting in the middle of God’s plan, and people’s lives, with real power, takes intercessory prayer.
YOUR CHALLENGE: For 30 days pray, “God, give me your heart and your prayer for people in my life today.”
CHRISTMAS – that’s down to earth
God brought all the great stuff from heaven down to earth with Jesus at Christmas, and now we too bring it into our everyday lives and relationships.
PREPARE – for “who am I anyway?”
Knowing God is knowing who you are, and knowing who you are is knowing where you are going.
YOUR CHALLENGE Take a free assessment to determine “My Shape,” and debrief with your Missional Community or pastor to turn it in “My Calling.”
